Testimonials

The overall CONSISTENCY of your services whether it was information in trimesters, diet, tips/tricks for labor & delivery, the communication, the follow through, the genuine connection and concern, to having your company every step of the way. As a single mother, you made me feel worthy and cared for.
I LOVED how if there was something I didn’t know or I was unsure of, you turned around and were quick to find me a reasonable answer. Also, your advocacy in the delivery room and hospital stay. With everything moving so fast and one being in a state of making rash decision, you stood for what I wanted and/or what came close to my overall decisions to my body as previously discussed in appointments before.
You create such a connection of care and compassion for the mother and baby. I never realized how much care is needed for a new mother until you came along and taught me the importance of my health. You treated me with such love and respect, I felt taken care of.

There's so much to learn and prepare for that it was overwhelming. I was grateful to have help navigating all of it. It allowed me to focus on what I needed to do to prepare myself mentally and physically. Shawna was amazing, informative, and easy to talk to. She offered recommendations but ultimately respected my desires, and gave me great tips and advice to support those desires.

I was worried about literally everything. Having a doula helped changed my mindset from what if to extremelypositive. All of your tips and information, even physically showing me how to do exercises with Ash before the birth,It helped so much. We chose you because you just seem very happy and excited to help other mom's experiencethe birth experience they want.

Originally I wasn't sure about having a doula. You made me feel comfortable and confident. My biggest fear was postpartum and not knowing what to expect. My postpartum was super difficult but having a doula there to encourage and support me I feel like really helped me get through some of the really tough moments!

I think all of the prenatal advice and all the stuff you sent me on Instagram was honestly amazing and super convenient, any time I had a question about anything you pretty much knew the answer to it. The most valuable part of your doula care was having you there to answer anyand every question I had throughout my pregnancy and labor and even post natal.

All of it is valuable. No one educates women on the subject of breastfeeding and it can be extremely overwhelmingand hopeless. Having a doula helped immensely. I was able to properly provide sustenance for my son, if I didn't haveit I'm not 100% sure I would still be breastfeeding my son today.
